If you receive your item and...
- It's not working - Simply contact us and we'll issue you a return label. If it's within 14 days of receipt you have the option of having it repaired, replaced with the same model or receiving a full refund. If it's after 14 days but before 90 days you have the option of repair or replacement with the same model.
- It's not in the condition you thought it would be in - Maybe we said it was in great condition but in your estimation it's just in good condition and you don't want to keep it. We make every effort to accurately describe our gear but condition is subjective and what we think might be very good you might think is just ok. No problem. You have 3 days from the day of receipt to contact us at which point we'll offer you a full refund or replacement camera, your choice. If your camera arrives sealed in a plastic bag please do not open this bag. Once you do you forfeit the ability to return the camera on the grounds that you are not satisfied with it's condition.
- It looks great and it works fine but a month after recieving it, it broke - Drop us an email or give us a call. We'll issue you a pre-paid return label and either repair or replace the camera so long as it's within 90 days of receipt.
- You decide you just don't want it - Maybe you've had it for a week and it's just not the model you want or you decide you want a nicer camera or maybe you decide that you're not the next great cinematographer and you just want to send it back for a refund. No problem. As long as it's within 14 days of receipt you can return it for a refund however... There is a 10% re-stocking fee for no-fault returns and you're on the hook for return shipping.
There are some exceptions to our policy that we want you to be aware of.
eBay & Amazon - eBay and Amazon warranties supercede any warranty you see here. Most items sold on these sites offer at least a 30 day warranty and many offer the same warranty listed on this page though other policies might be different. I.E. for cameras purchased from these sites the buyer pays return shipping. If you're buying a camera from us on one of these sites please see the warranty information on the listing you're purchasing.
If your camera arrives in a clear plastic bag DO NOT remove it - We know... You don't like being told what to do. Neither do we but this is an important one. If you remove the camera from the bag you forfeit your ability to return the camera for a refund on the grounds that you are not satisfied with it's physical condition. Why we do this... Camera rentals are expensive. Some unsavory people will purchase a camera, use it for a shoot and then contact us and tell us they want to return it because they're not satisfied with the condition of the unit, in essence getting a free rental. To avoid this we seal the unit in a clear plastic bag so that you can easily inspect it to ensure it's in the condition that we say it is but so that someone can't buy it, use it and then contact us and tell us they want to return it because it's not as pretty as we promised. We had one customer buy a $6000 camera, put 38 hours on it in 5 days and then send it back. So make sure you inspect the camera through the bag and if you're not satisfied with the condition do not open it. Contact us and we'll issue you a return label.
If you break it - So you opened the bag, shot some footage and decided that you still want to return it but you can't because it's not broken. So you say to yourself "self, I'm going to break this camera so I can return it." Don't do that... No really, don't do that. Our warranty covers manufacturers defect. It does not cover damage as a result of someone physically harming the camera nor does it cover liquid damage. If there are any signs of liquid damage or signs that the camera was physically tampered with your warranty claim will be denied and your equipment returned to you. So don't do this... We're not saying that you would do this but you know that other guy. He might... Don't be that other guy.
